  • A reminder that we are working as fast as possible to get our new recruits in uniforms. We’re aiming for the end of October to kit out the two or three cadets remaining, though it’s a slower process for any uniform orders with the mail strike going.
  • The Poppy Campaign schedule will be posted to our FB page on Friday Oct 17. Please pay attention to the details as not all the shifts take place at the same timings each week, or at the same locations. Thanks to everyone who signed up to help us support the Legion. Dress is FTUs.
  • A reminder to get ready for our corps hike on Sat Oct 25, at the Dobson trail in Riverview, located at 633 Pine Glen Rd, from 1100 – 1600 hrs. (Please note there is construction at the first parking lot, so we’ll meet at the second a bit further up the road from the first one). The dress will be comfortable civilian clothes. Please dress in layers for warmth, and ensure that you have enough clothes to stay warm and dry throughout the day. Pay particular attention to having properly fitted hiking boots. Cadets can wear their issued combat boots if they don’t have anything else. Lunch will be provided by the unit!
  • A reminder for MCpl Agouassé, Cpl Biggs and MCpl Murray who are our first volunteers for the Legion Breakfast on Sunday Oct 26, at the Legion, from 0800 – 1000 hrs. Dress is FTUs.
  • Lastly, the zone will be organizing a Fundamental Skills day on Nov 29, in Moncton. This will be a great opportunity to learn new skills and mingle with cadets from various other local units. Registration needs to be done by the end of this month to participate, so if you didn’t already let us know you’ll be in attendance, please email us before Oct 21st so we can add you without missing the deadline.
