Urgent: Please note that the Poppy Campaign schedule had to be amended. No Frills informed us last minute that they gave our spots for Nov 8 & 9 to another organization. This means that ALL shifts initially scheduled at No Frills will now be taking place at the Shediac IGA, to allow all cadets to still contribute to the campaign despite losing our spots at the other grocery store. Dress remains FTUs for all, parade uniforms if you don’t have FTUs, or appropriate civilian attire if you have neither. Please bring a water bottle and eat before your shifts. The new schedule will be posted with the links for these announcements on our FB page.
For LCpl Leger, Cpl Robichaud J and LCpl Robichaud B only, you have a flag party practice with M. Ste-Marie on Monday Nov 10, at 1600 hrs, at the Shediac cenotaph (behind the market). It shouldn’t take more than an hour. Dress is warm civilian attire.
We will meet at the Shediac Legion at 1015 hrs on Tuesday Nov 11, to take part in the Remembrance Day parade. Wear your parade uniforms if you have them (including ties, issued gloves, parkas, parade boots with wamr socks, tuques, and your poppies). Dress in layers so you don’t get cold. If you are missing a uniform part (parade boots, parka, gloves, etc), please feel free to wear a civilian item instead (preferably in a dark colour). The focus is warmth first, even if it involves a bit of “mix and match” between uniform parts and civilian ones. If you don’t have a parade uniform at all, please wear dress civilian clothes (dress pants in dark green, navy or black if possible, warm layers, a coat, gloves, a hat, and warm boots and your poppies).
The dress for next week (Nov 12) is FTUs for cadets who have them, or parade uniforms if you don’t have FTUs. If you have neither, then wear appropriate civilians.
For anyone who missed this week, if you are interested in completing First Aid training (at no cost to you, but you’ll have to organize your own transport) in Bouctouche on Jan 10 & 11 2026 (roughly 0830-1630 hrs timings on both days), please send us an email to let us know you want to participate by no later than Sunday Nov 9, at 1700hrs at [email protected]
If you would like to attend the Stadacona Band’s reggae holiday concert on Dec 8 2025 at the Capital Theatre in Moncton (1900 -2100 hrs) and you haven’t given us your name already, please email us by no later than Sunday Nov 9, at 1700hrs at [email protected]
