Many thanks to the few cadets who sold spaghetti plates and 50/50 tickets for our fundraiser, and/or helped us with the dinner last Saturday. Despite the smaller number of cadets who made sales, we still raised $1300 for unit activities, which is excellent. Thank you to our Sponsoring Committee President, Lily as well, for all her hard work. It’s much appreciated.
A reminder to our volunteers Cadet Wilbur, Cadet Frost and Sgt Murray that the Legion breakfast is happening this Sunday March 29, from 0800 – 1000 hrs. Dress is FTUs if you have them, or appropriate civilian attire.
Dress for training next week (April 1st) is comfortable civilian clothing for all, and please bring a hoodie with thick sleeves to wear while shooting, as the rubber pads on our marksmanship mats chafe uncovered elbow skin.
CI Boone, our Supply Officer will pull new recruits in need of uniform parts to be measured/kitted out (depending on what sizes we have on hands) throughout our marksmanship night on April 1st. Other cadets who need to exchange uniform parts that are too small/too big are encouraged to bring their uniform exchanges in for next week.
Please keep an eye out for the new training schedule, which will be posted before next Wednesday (April 1st).
