Our unit hike is this Saturday, Oct 25, from 1100 – 1600 hrs, at the Dobson Trail in Riverview. Directions can be found here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/VjZ8vxYAj7EFHxzL7 ; The first parking lot is under construction, so please drive a bit further up the same road until you reach the second parking lot. Lunch will be provided. Dress is civilian clothes for all. Please ensure cadets are dressed in layers to stay warm and dry throughout the day. Please wear boots you can comfortably hike in. Issued combat boots can be worn if you don’t have civilian hiking boots, but wear your thicker issued wool socks with them. Each cadet has to bring a book bag they can carry their lunch and extra layers. Please bring a water bottle.
A reminder to MCpl Murray, MCpl Agouassé, and Cpl Biggs that the Legion breakfast is this Sunday, Oct 26th, from, 0800-1000 hrs at the Legion. Dress is FTUs. Please bring your water bottle.
Next week’s training is a movie night for Halloween. Dress is appropriate civilian clothes for all, and please wear your costume if you have one. We’ll serve popcorn for the movie. Please bring your water bottle.
For any cadet that wants to attend the Stadacona’s band’s reggae concert at the Capital Theatre (in Moncton) on Monday Dec 8. Doors open at 1830 hrs, the concert starts at 1900 hrs and will wrap up by 2100hrs. Please let us know by next Wednesday if you weren’t there last night and you’d like to go. Tickets are free for us, dress will be parade uniforms.
