Please note that there will not be optional training Friday Sept 26. Our music training is postponed to the new year due to changes in staff availability. Optional marksmanship will continue as planned.
Dress next week (Oct 1) is FTUs for cadets who have them, or appropriate civilian attire for new recruits. Please remember to bring your water bottle (and to take it home at the end of the night along with your parkas).
Please remember to let us know as soon as possible if your cadet cannot attend training (before 1700 hrs on Wednesdays or earlier if possible). A reminder that MCpl Murray & Sponsoring committee member Lily Murreth will do weekly call-ins on Sundays (or Mondays if they can’t reach you on Sunday) to make sure everyone has the needed information for Wednesday sessions, and to get a feel of the attendance each week. If you have any questions or know you will be absent, please let us know.
There will be a Sponsoring Committee meeting for all parents/guardians on Oct 8, from 2030 – 2100 hrs for anyone interested in helping us keep the unit running smoothly. It is a very small time & energy commitment but this help makes a huge difference in our operations throughout the year.
The new October training schedule will be posted on our website by Sept 30th (next Tuesday at the latest).
